Holding back

Jul 21, 2009 14:45

I've been writing and wandering and generally alternating between full-on goofing off or full-bore working all day long. The yard's too wet to mow, so that's out of the question, and we've banked a bunch of leftovers, so cooking isn't the best idea, either.

Thus, I've been alternating between browsing book / record stores and writing writing writing so I can meet my post count for today, as well as getting a few held back for tomorrow. It's not that I'm afraid of running out of material - oh, nay! In point of fact, the bakery is going to be closed tomorrow for plumbing repairs. And, as that requires jackhammering through a foot of concrete, all of us get an extra (albeit unpaid) day off this week. To this end, Deron, Dylan, Erik and I will be heading to Kansas City to look at bicycle shops and eat Lulu's.

So, since I'm going to be fucking around for the better part of day tomorrow, I need to hit part, if not all, of my posts for tomorrow's blog today. Does that make sense? Probably not. Whatever.
