Decisions, choices, etc.

Because I choose to blow most of my disposable income on records, my clothing choices are limited. Granted, we bought Tony a very nice winter coat, gassed up the car, groceries, bus pass for Tony, etc., but I still blew too much money on records this weekend. I got some great deals, but I'm still pretty much broke until student loan refund time next Monday.

On the bright side, I did manage to find some pants to replace jeans that have started to give up the ghost. One pair of jeans has a big hole in the knee, another just lost a belt loop, and the third pair is being reserved as the only nice pair I've got left. So, therefor some new pants were needed.

Goodwill, of course, was my only option. Surprisingly, they were full up. I guess everyone cleaned out their closets after Christmas... their ugly, ugly closets. Jeez - we're talking hideous jeans that no one in their right mind would ever choose to wear, as well as a cornucopia of awful slacks.

Buried within all that crap were several pairs of Dickies. And, as they were used Dickies, rather than new, they were all broken in and comfortable, in that way that near-indestructible work pants get after being worn for a long time. So, for the princely sum of $7.50, I have two very comfortable pairs of pants that will last me for at least the next year or so - and Is till got buy a bunch of records. Yay me.

Now, I just need to decide as to whether or not I want to be a good program director and work the station from 4-8am, or if I want to be a good husband and use my day off to get the oil changed and tires rotated on the car. It's one or the other, because if I'm not al Wal-Mart when they open the auto department at 7am, my day is shot. It's the difference between in-and-out in an hour and a half or not leaving until noon.

Y'know what? I just worked an hour at the bakery and trained DJs for the majority of my Sunday evening. I've got a meeting with ToJo at 1:30 that I need to make as well, so I'd probably get more accomplished if I got the vehicle taken car of. Somebody can unlock the station for me, I'm sure.
