Done and done
Christmas is over and done with.
We had a lovely afternoon with my folks and family, and it would have been fun to be able to stick around longer, but both the_lucky_nun and I have to go back to work tomorrow after a four-day holiday. This means scads of work, and long, stressful hours.
Still, we blew some mad cash on gifts, so the extra cash from the holidays will be thankful come payday Friday. We've got to get some new tires on the car, replace the blower fan in the truck, etc. Thankfully, we got some Wal-Mart gift cards, which will offset the cost of the tires. Plus, there are some gift cards to Best Buy and Half Price Book which I can blow on fun stuff.
My sister got me this for Christmas, which offset the picture of my grandmother's swing that left Tanya and I crying for five minutes:
