The days are just packed

Work's been pretty much a repeated ass-kicking lately, but it seems that I'm adapting. Dylan came in an hour late yesterday (he called and asked if he could), so I busted out the Sound Opinions and All Songs Considered podcasts and just powered through. It helped that there wasn't much in the way of stuff to be made. Granted, I came home and crashed for three hours after work, only awakening because my bladder was screaming.

Never did make it out to see Destroy Everything at the Replay, despite plans to do so and MySpace bulletins alerting others. I was just too tired, even with the nap.

Today is an easy day - I don't really have anything to worry about around the house ecept maybe some laundry. I've got short ribs cooking on the stove, and I'm hoping to good they turn out all right. The prep resulted in the kitchen getting a little wrecked, but everything smells really amazing right now.

The next couple of days, I've got to work and do a shack cleanup for KJHK. Free pizza, but nothing sucks more than working a ten-hour day and then spending two hours reorganizing a radio station. Suck. A couple Saturdays from now (July 5, to be specific), I'll be covering Annie's show, Little Red Radio. It just got featured in the Journal-World, and I look forward to busting out kids' music for two hours.

work, radio, food
