Them's that ain't got it
If I had a microphone, I could record promos in the basement on my computer without having to dick with the insanely complicated setup that is the KJHK production office. I have an idea for a new promo for Sunglasses After Dark (which would be number five, for those keeping track at home). Sort of a drag strip / funny car / monster truck rally sort of thing.
I was working it out aloud while I wandered around the bakery this afternoon. Things like "FRIDAY! FRIDAY! FRIDAY!" and "NITRO-BURNING ACTION!" and "SEE BIG DADDY DON BODINE WITH HIS CAR THE BEHEMOTH!" and (of course) "WE SELL YOU THE WHOLE SEAT, BUT YOU'LL ONLY NEED THE EDGE!"
Come to think of it, maybe my problems wouldn't necessarily be improved by more time in the basement.
