To hell with responsibility
Skipped my office hours to frolic outdoors... and promptly went from KJHK to Half Price Books. However, I've learned to listen to that little voice in the back of my head telling me to go digging through the clearance bins at Half Price, Kief's, or Love Garden. I tend to walk away with insanely good prices on otherwise rather pricey records.
Case in point: today I found not only the American Upstart 7" that came with an issue of the KC skin 'zine years ago (and that I stupidly sold), I also found a Templars / Bottom of the Barrel split 7" from Oink! Skinzine. It's marble grey vinyl, too. There's a coupel other finds in there, as well - Jerry Lee Lewis, Framework, Johnny Cash, some train sounds 45... and all for like, four bucks.
Now, I'm going to go downtown, mail off this Jay Reatard record, and just generally fuck around reading for class tomorrow. I have also remembered corkwis' plate and my copy of the WWE Ladder Match DVD, so massholecatlady can finally see that Hardyz / Brood match that Craig and I constantly reminisce over.
