It's a first!
For the first time since I've come to Lawrence, they canceled classes at KU.
Of course, it's a day when I work, but don't have classes. Figures. On the bright side, that means no KJHK all-staff tonight. The station's off the air, too. On the negative side, that means next Wednesday is the new day for the meeting, and it's half an hour later. This means that next to no one will show up, citing "work issues" as a means to avoid it.
Dom and I went sledding when I got home. We thoroughly exhausted and soaked ourselves, and had a wonderful time. Then we had cocoa. Dinner is chili dogs and french fries - hot dog buns I made at work, chili I made myself, and fries I will make from actual potatoes. For one brief shining moment, I am actually feeling like a good parent.
