How do you work this thing?
Now that there's a Compact Flash card in my new camera, it'd be super if I could find time to actually mess around with the goddamn thing. I'd like to have an idea of how to work something beyond "point. zoom. click." by the time corkwis and massholecatlady's wedding rolls around in October.
Or my brother's wedding in September.
Or our trip to the Henry Dorley Zoo in Omaha this summer.
Or my SXSW trip in March.
Frankly, I just want to be able to take nicer pictures. I'd also like the free time to learn how to do that, but I'm the one who got myself into this whole mess, and it's got at least a year to go before I'm done with school and the station.
