(no subject)
so my reading two weeks ago went well. only problem is that there will be no podcast as the podcast man decided not to show.
the maisey dog is doing very well. hard to believe i've only had her for two months. in my head i always made fun of people who say things like "i don't remember what life was like before the dog/cat/baby/etc" and "it feels like they've been here forever." but now i can't make fun of those people because it does feel like maisey has been here longer than two-months. she's completely spoiled. dog park nearly everyday, sometimes twice a day. tom brown (the very good dog park) at least once a week where she can play in the kiddie pool and have fun with the hose, because, above all else, maisey is a water dog.
i've got a real job. sometime within the coming week i'll be starting work at the florida department of education, working in the post-secondary education testing unit, editing testing material and stuff.
i'm still waiting on the post office to deliver my harry potter seven. the delay in delivery allowed me to finish re-reading the first six. i checked amazon yesterday and apparently my package has been in tallahassee since friday (like i thought).
