aw man. i thought i was going to have the office to myself today, but nope. one of my officemates, actually one who site in the cubicle right next to me, is holding conferences this afternoon. who schedules student conferences on a friday afternoon? the kids don't want to come in on a friday (except that it gives them time to put off revision for over a week). and why not schedule yourself a day off?
the major problem with this is that i was actually getting some work done and i had music playing. i can't play the music (out of courtesy) because i didn't bring any headphones in today. and the other major problem is that nobody can have a quiet conference, not even the most soft-spoken people.
