finally back with words of nothing

OK, live journal fans...I havent written since July!!! I'm going to try and write more, especially considering my summer plans... I'll be in Yellowstone all summer! I got a job at the Old Faithful Inn from June 14th-Oct 15th! It's been a life-long dream of mine to work there, something always in the back of my mind and on my giant "to do" list, and I applied, got the job, and am going! I'm very excited! I will of course, miss Jason and Lil' Sis and the other dogs, but I'm also not getting any younger...I can't be running off the National Parks for a summer when I have a mortgage and real problems.
So in other news, I'm quitting my job at Houston's at the end of May, driving home to Washinton with Jason, hanging out there for a few days, taking the train up to Seattle to visit my cousin and her boys, then going to Ketchikan, Alaska with Jason for a week! We come back to Kelso, Jason goes back to LA and I'll drive to Yellowstone with my daddy on June 12th!
Other globe trotting news: I just got back from 2 weeks in Europe. My friend from High School Adam and i went. Flew into London, stayed there 3 night, flew to Pisa, where my high school theatre teacher lives with her family. There our friend Tinna, from Iceland, met up with us, we went to Rome, Lucca, and Florence as well! Ate amazing pizza, had perfect cappuccinos, and a great time. Then Adam and I flew to Paris for 2 nights, then took the chunnel back to London for 2 more nights. It was much needed and very fun. I had never been to Italy before so that was a treat!
Then I went home for my cousin Michelle's wedding! I got to see a lot of my family, and some rain, my cat, and my dad's mac and cheese!
Jason and I are going to Reno on Wednesday for 3 days for Jason's grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary! Jason's brother and his girlfriend are going, as well as Bill and Range and the grandparents, of course. So it's the super 8, and we always have a great time together!
Alright, so...in Italy I was forced to watch the 1st episode of a show that I never wanted to get into...I was forced to watch Grey's Anatomy...I have resisted my whole life (all 3 years of it's run) and I've always said, "I watch ER, i have my medical drama"...but I watched, I loved, I'm hooked. i finished the 1st season in 2 days, came back to the states, bought the 2nd season, and am pleasantly working on that one now. When the 3rd season comes out, I'll fly through that and be ready for season 4...Live! (sigh)...it's sooo good. DAMN IT.
Lost has only a few more episodes left this season...Top Model is winding down, it's nice to know I wont be missing any of my shows when I'm in Yellowstone :) a little comfort...considering I wont have a TV for 4 months.
So life goes on, and i pay my rent, work for the man and try and find some good in it all. sometimes it's not hard, other times it's impossible. Happy Earth Day. Pick up some trash, recycle, and try and be a part of the good.
