I haven't posted in quite a while. I've been EXTREMELY busy with work and the social life! This is a great thing!
I have exciting news that I found out two weeks ago but have kind of been withholding: I GOT INTO USC!!!! It's for my Masters in Electrical Engineering. Yes that's right, University of Southern California, in LA, a top ten engineering school. Am I going? I'm not sure yet. If I can get some free monies for it then I will, but its a private school which means EXPENSIVE. So, this August I might be saying goodbye to Michigan for at least two years.
Work is going excellent, I am doing really well and saving every penny. My friends are great and the upper flat is doing swell. Roxy is here with me and she looks super cute with her new haircut. She looks like a fox!
I think next weekend we are having a BBQ so please clear your calendars for the event. We live in beautiful Birmingham! Our house is awesome and I just painted my living room so please come over.
Today I even made the biggest leap of my online life: I switched from aol to gmail. Those of you who know my legacy of skadd4life@aol.com know that this transition was a long coming and very difficult one. I come forth to you with my new, boring, adult email address: crystal.nassouri@gmail.com
So Faith is leaving to North Dakota, and I might be going to LA. I am feeling so blank about all of this leaving and trying not to get excited in case I don't move. I have to think about this reasonably. It would be great to go, but do I really need to put myself in that much of debt when I could get a free MS from work?
Additional news: Kris and I are going hiking in Isle Royal in August. It's going to be a one week long trip. If you are interested in joining us on this adventure ABOVE THE UP, please contact me. It'd be nice to have a big group go, but you have to be athletic and willing to hike ALL DAY.
