Today is the first time I have checked LJ/FB since Friday. And just within the first 20 posts it's clear what people are talking about.
So, here is my $.02:
Don't let who is on the throne dictate your attendance/participation at an event! You should make your decision to attend or not based on your desire to see your friends/fight in the war or list/do A&S activities/equestrian/whatever. The sitting or upcoming royalty should have NO bearing on this decision.
If you have an issue with *anything*, bring it up directly with the person, don't just boycott this thing you have made a commitment to because you think that is going to get your point across (this applies especially to Peers). Be your own person.
And, the thing that drives me crazy : "Fighter X is fighting in Crown so I'm not even going to bother to show up and fight because obviously he will win." AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH! You fight to honor your consort. By giving up before the event has even started you dishonor him/her as well as yourself.
