Could I Have Been Anyone Other Than Me?
So i havent updated in a while. So heres the low-down
Schools been great. I was in a black box in February called "How Alfo Learned to Love Women." It was fun, it was set in the 70's so i got to wear this cool charlies angels like jump suite. It was Hot.
Now im in a cabaret (nooo not the musical we all know and love chris lavoie) its a sketch comedy show with singing and dancing and goofy scenes and monologues. Its very librel and very 'for women'. Its HILARIOUS. i love it. im having so much fun. Buuuuut a couple day ago i lost my voice. Ive only lost my vocie like twice in my life. Now ive been taking very good of myself since before i got sick. No smoking or drinking and drinking juices and stuff. But i still got sick! My show is a week from tomorrow. And im nervous that i wont have it back. But im praying. Everybody cross your fingers for me please!
So im in a directing class at school and our final project is directing a 10-20 minute scene. We had our auditions on tuesday. I have my callbacks today, im excited, i feel like i have authority or something. I really like the scene im doing. Im directing a cutting from Nicky Silvers "Beautiful Child" If you havent read any Nicky Silver you should, hes great. Hes in a league of his own when it comes to playwrights. So im pumped about all that.
other than that things have been dandy. So im just gonna not talk for the next 6 hours until i have rehearsal. Wish me luck, i think i havent gone 5 minutes without talking in my life. :-)
