So, has anybody been to any good Gigs lately? Or know of any?

I went to see Reel Big Fish on the 2nd last month, down in Brighton. They were bloody brilliant. Supporting them was a really good band, Fandangle. They rock, check them out. I'm on their Street Team, so its my job now to plug them.

In a few weeks, down in Brighton, there is an All Day ( Read more... )

Yeah but i'm not sure what it is that annoys me. Our trombone player has there number and we could well play a gig with them sometime so I don't hate them. There's something that if I listern to more than one of there songs at a time or if it happens to repeat the same song I just have to turn it off, hmm.
Who's your fav ska(/punk)band that u've seen live then?

Probably Reel Big Fish. They were BRILLAINT live. Absolutly great, Aaron was really funny, and so was Scott.
Less Than Jake were good as well, but they were in the Astoria, while the Fish were in the C2. The fact that it was such a small, intimate venue made it brilliant.
How about you? You said you have a band? Can I hear some of your stuff?

Reel big fish were awesome when I seen them last year but I think i'm going to have to go with rx bandits. Maybe not the most fun gig but those guys r great musicians, really good live. Sure we are called spaceman lance.

Yeah, my basic question would be: "Ok. So. How do I play this thing? Like, well. Oh, and I want to know quickly, and without having to do any work".
I'm Basically the Nightmare Student that doesnt turn up for half the lessons, and dosent practice for when he does turn up.

my advise, play the air trumpet instead then....

na you need to find something that will motivate you to practice. But you have to practice, and practice hard to play trumpet, just like any instrument, depends if your willing to or not.

Yeah, I realise that. Seeing Reel Big Fish got me quite motivated, just seeing Scott play well, made me want to play more. I know I need to practice more, and hopefully over the summer, I can practice alot more.
Hopefully.
