Went to A.C.T. for the second time in my life and for the second time it happened to be an avant-gardish Canadian production. The first time, it was a musical based on The Overcoat, which probably caused Gogol to turn in his grave. Tonight it was No Exit by Sartre, but involving video projectors, and the stage was occupied only by the valet (the projectors showing what's going on in the room with the three main characters). A couple of very annoying guys were sitting next to me, one using his iPhone, another violently jerking his leg and making quiet but very audible sounds. Which reinforced the central idea of the play: hell is other people.
