As I sit here and think about Jacob, I can't help but try to believe that this is all just some joke that is going to go away.
I never thought I'd lose a friend so young. And I don't even know where to begin with what a great guy he was.
He had a sarcastic asshole humor, but that's what made him Jacob. We'd call each other Fatties whenever we'd see each other, but it was always with a smile. Cracking up in Physics,and making Mr. Krehbiel mad, and eating cheese fries at Steak n Shake. You were such a great friend to me, and we were really close. I can't imagine how much I'm going to miss you.
I tried to see you before you left for Boot camp but with school and everything I couldn't. And I now wish that I had.
You are such a great kid Jacob. Fun, kind, and always laughing. I love and miss you so much.
I hope you always remember those who love you.
