where have i been?
Seriously where haven't i been.... well i can confess facebook has kidnapped me for a while because you can put UNLIMITED pictures on it, pretty flippin sweet. anyways it's been about 3 months since i've updated so i'll just skip to the good stuff.....
Thanksgiving Break was great, i celebrated my bday with my family then and saw my grandparents too which was awesome. When i got back to school, on my birthday, i was kinda lonesome.... but i absolutely love my roomates because they took me into the city for a "surprise" birthday dinner, so amazing.... rowing was pretty normal for the last three weeks, kinda sad tho because i knew i wouldnt see them for a few weeks. then for the first week of christmas break i went to maui with my family, very fun and relaaaaaxing... i got to see and HEAR humpback whales and swim with turtles. the water is my absolute favorite thing there, its seriously magical. the rest of break was okay. I didn't see many friends except for one crazy night of bowling with some cool ppl from high school. Then for new years i went with my brother and forrest to disneyland... in the rain.... in sandals. but seriously i was with two of my favorite people and we had a great time.
So i ended up driving up to school BY MYSELF which i had to convince my dad forever to do. but the drive wasnt as bad as i thought it would be, i had harry for company (book 6 on CD). I was soooooo excited to be back at school, and it was at that point when i got back to the freezing rain and wind with a huge smile on my face that i knew i had come home. moreover, i missed my crew terribly and rowing for the first time on monday morning was like a breath of fresh air. We've improved so much since then (three weeks ago) and i'm so excited for march for when races start!!
The bad news.... i start classes tomorrow. i actually didn't stack up my schedule as much as i usually do, but all the same, this has been an amazing break and thanks to all the people who made it so wonderful, yay for a great start to the new year!!! later for now, i promise not to go away for so long.
