And so it goes...

Here's a thought...

Today, I was helping my good friend, Krista, carry her laundry to school. She asked me, and I agreed to do it. Anyways, on the way to school the bags were just annoyingly heavy. Carrying clothes to school is nothing new for me, yet, somehow these bags that weren't mine were unbearable. Then this caused me to think about it a little more broadly. Is is just me, but when you're carrying a burden that isn't yours...doesn't it seem a little more cumbersome??? I made the mistake of asking Krista this while we were walking...and she got on this trip of having a "servant heart" crap (cause she thought I was complaining). Which, in a way I was...I didn't want to carry her laundry anymore. Although, where my mind was going, Krista, wasn't following...cause I started thinking more about the act of carrying things that don't belong to us. Then, Jesus, popped into my head and Him carrying the worst burden of laundry ever that didn't belong to Him, but it belonged to US!!! He carried our dirty, heavy, smelly laundry to the cross where He washed it clean with His precious blood. Wow, what an amazing love!

Just thought I'd share my thoughts with you! Have a beautiful day!
