This was really sweet & beautiful. I especially liked the way you described Mirai feeling that everyone is looking at her differently now that she is an Olympian.

I will admit though, that at times I found the dialogue a bit... unbelievable? Not because I don't think they would feel that way...just because they're both young and I don't think their manner of speaking isn't that eloquent (yet).

Oh, man. Thank you so much for this, I think you're the only one that's been writing these two together. I like this a lot, it's adorable and wishful--just how things feel at that age. Intentional or not, I think you captured that pretty well. I really hope you keep writing!

Thanks for commenting! I'm hoping to see more fic from others in the future, though I'm worried Caroline's career won't last long enough for it. :-(
