Dave
Dave left on Monday, we spent all day at the Coast Guard Academy... while dave was in Chase Hall getting ready for Swab summer... It was scarry cause i walked by the building that all the new cadets were in and i could here the guys yelling at all the new cadets and stuff... and my dad was just laghing, cause he had gone through all this in the navy... Dave went in there at like 7am and we didnt get to see him until 3:30 and when we saw him he had his head shaved and i could hardly recognize him, he looked sooooo handsome, and older... and then he got sworn in, and then they took a picture of all the cadets, there were like 300+ new cadets... after the picture we got 15 min with dave and then he had to leave. it was the shortest 15 minutes i have ever seen. then dave had to leave. the last thing i said to him was "I love you Dave!" and gave him a hug... i miss him soo much already... i sent him a letter today, and he's already sent us 2 letters... he said that his platoon leader told him that he had the best brace (posture) in his platoon!! and he said that he gets depressed somtimes during the day, and he wants everyone to pray for him!! and he told me that i had to read calvin and hobbs to levi tonight! well im gunna go... l8r...
