Yeah...
Alright so you're probably getting sick of all my skating stuff in here, but that's really all the excitement I have in my life. But I will be saying more in this entry that just skating stuff. But firrrst...SKATING:
I FINALLY got my skates sharpened last week! (Friday to be exact) and they REALLY needed sharpening! Haha. And my axels were actually pretty good on Saturday during my lesson. Doing them from crossovers(as opposed to on a line) I STILL get afraid. What I do is, I do the entrance, start to jump, then get partly in the air and get scared and stop. I have NO IDEA why I do that! I wish wish wish wish WISH that I wouldn't!!
With my double sal chows, I'm getting REALLY close! I'm so excited Lol. I always try on those, I don't get scared once I get into the air on double sals, like I do with axels. I fall...A LOT...on my double sals but it's still fun. I love them.
I need to get my dad to go there with the video camera so I can see myself doing axels, and my position in the air for, well proably all of my jumps. Spins would be good for it too.
WORK:
As you know, Anjoli and I are working at both the rink AND the Big Dipper. We're pretty much done at the Big Dipper for now, until spring comes back. And at the rink...well, we don't like it so much. MAYBE it's just because we're new. I don't know. I mean, we didn't like the Big Dipper for a few weeks right when we started but now we LOVE working there. But at the ice rink, it just seems like I won't ever get to skate when I'm there. We normally skate for HOURS on Saturdays, but now we're scheduled to work ALL DAY every Saturday, with 1 1/2 off for each of us so we can have our lessons. I'm thinking we might just quit at the rink and be unemployed(FREEDOM!!) until around March when we'll go back to the dipper. Oh well. I suppose we'll figure it out.
And for HAPPY things!
Lindz is having a big birthday party next Friday (we made sure to get off that day since we work every Friday at the rink!) and I'm SOOOOO going to be there! I think it's going to loads of fun. Whatever shall I wear? Hmmm...
