doc gave me the go ahead to start walking again without the cast, although he did say that the bone is not totally healed up so I should still take it easy. It feels weird.
I somehow convinced him that I would be ok to skate in the Christmas parade on Saturday because I wouldn't do any tricks - I would just skate forward (now, really, who that knows me would believe that statement? hehe)
