Waiting in Tampa
So it looks last time I updated this thing was December of 2008 (see today's date above!)
I'm currently in Tampa waiting for my connecting flight back home in Cleveland. I was in Naples since yesterday for a business trip. I'm so tired now. Between only two clients, I have 10 videos due early next week and this trip was thrown in the middle. Thursday I was at work from 0800 (sidenote, I've decided to take a cue from superdavy and write times in 24hr format for no real reason...) to about midnight working on a huge project (which I am the only one in the office who could work on). By the time I got home, packed and showered it was 0200-up at 0600 to go to the airport. I finally got to the hotel at 1700 for the event that I was shooting at 1730. After the event ended around 2100, I got a drink with my boss and his wife then went back to the room, got room service and did some work.
This morning I didn't let myself sleep in because I wanted to enjoy as much personal time as I could here. After eating breakfast (and doing some more work over breakfast) I finally got to the beach! Considering the past few months of cold, snowy Cleveland weather, this was really nice! My pasty ass did get burnt but I don't care! I'm really kind of depressed to go back to 30 degree weather with snow on the ground (which btw, 30 is warm in comparison to the past few weeks!). I really think I was meant for warm weather but I've made my home Cleveland, so I guess I just have to live with it.
Oh, some great news! Sean and I are soon going to be home owners! We have purchased a town house/condo on w 98th st. The building was built in 1902 but was gutted and everything inside is brand new inside (so the best of both worlds... something old with character but without the problems and upkeep of an old home).
Anyways, i gota go... my flight was late now it's showing on time, so I should go see if they are boarding. I'll finish this post later (and by later I don't mean a year from now... well, maybe, we'll see!)
