The Grey Goose Has Set Sail

Well kids for those of you who don't know my parents bought a new car this past month. They got:

95'-96' Nissan Maxima

Automatic

Tan

Matching cloth interior

New rims and tires

All in all it's a pretty nice car and runs awesome. Only thing that needed work was a broken door handle and new breaks. Of course dad has taken care of all that. I FINALLY got a shot to drive it and it's a smooth ride. Got a nice little pick up to it as well. So yeah with the new car ment getting rid of the old one. An 84' Eight Nine Oldsmobile...which of course then was a full luxery vheicle.

We as a family have had some awesome times in that car and pleanty of memories to boot. But it was time to let her go. We called her the Grey Goose and pleanty of other names; that just happen to stick the best. One of moms friends mentioned it to her kids and they stop by yesterday around 4pm. Took it for a test drive around the block...when they got back all they could say was, "TAKE THE FOR SALE POST OFF IT!"

Yup that's right kid they left for 10 mins to get the money and came right back. Dad got what he wanted for it which was $1500. Although my buddies and I agree he could have sold it for WAY more. But dad just wanted to see her go to a good home and that's where she has gone. I watched her pull out of our drive way for the last time. She was a good car and I wouldn't have mind having her. But let's face it...I'm all sports car or truck. We'll miss her of course, but glad she went some where good.

And besides I got to say, "The Grey Goose has set sail!" when she left. Dad laughed a bit, but watched her leave until she was out of eye sight. We both watched her...Safe to say we loved that car equally. Have fun @ your new home Grey Goose...Later Days
