lifted revelations

When I smoke I remember and get in touch with all these emotions I forgot I could feel. And some that I've never felt before.
I have a daughter, a beautiful baby girl. With eyes so deep and penetrating. How could I ever lie to them? How could I ever hurt them? My daughter, Allison.
I love her mother, Lorraine is such a strong young woman. She has many faults, weaknesses, and fears, but she can overcome them. She's a survivor, and you can't fight with her. My love, a true warrior of the spiritual kind. She won't back down, refuse to lose, so you better get ready for a war.
I love my family. I have to give them all that I can, it is my duty. No duty comes before one's family, selfishness has to virtually cease existence. One no longer comes first, family does. It is a difficult honor to follow, but a perpetual one to struggle towards. My father has given me that golden example.
There never came a time he put himself before us. A man that cannot be broken. A virtue passed down from his father. And possibly the father before him. To have such discipline for a lifetime, takes incredible integrity.
One more gift I pocess is my brain. It is a tool, a weapon, an avenue I must posess and take full control of. To use it towards these higher principles.
