Just a quick entry to prove I'm still alive.
We're in the final weeks of production for
Madagascar, and as usual life is insane. We are short handed enough that they have senior folks like myself answering the phone for user support, as one of our junior guys left, one is out for a family emergency, and one other one is down at the corporate office helping out with their people shortage (yeah, if they have one and we have one guess who gets to suffer more?).
I had really forgotten how much user support sucks. Fortunately, it wasn't too busy today since the user community is too busy to break things, but still! It's the whole thing about having to drop everything whenever the phone rings and never really being able to concentrate on any one things for more than a few minutes that drives me nuts.
But, the one advantage is that since I came in at 7am I get to leave now! So I'm off to swear at the morons who can't drive around here.....
