We just had our (bad) champagne toast -- Shrek2 has been nominated for best animated feature! Surprisingly (at least to me) so has Shark Tale. Of course, The Incredibles took the other nomination, and they're going to be tough for us to beat. Still, we can hope ( Read more... )

That's scary. Almost as scary as the miniature "branch oracle" ATM-on-wheels used in the production I saw of P.D.Q. Bach's The Magic Bassoon.

No, the scary part was when two people in tinsel grass skirts twirled the house across the stage to simulate a storm. Somewhere around here was where my partner turned to me (opening night) and said "I didn't know this was supposed to be a comedy".

Just for the record *I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT PRODUCTION!!!!!* I saw it from the audience opening night and couldn't bring myself to go back again.

Well, in Act One they talked with the oracle (a wall-mount ATM), so they went to the branch oracle in Act Two. That was a fun production.

You had to bring that show up, didn't you! Don't you know I've blocked it from my memory?!?!?! :)

Besides, behave or I'll bring up a cdrtain show where you had to wear a skirt :) and spent enough time on the small pink bed backstage with one of the male cast members that he had to try and hide in the back of the crowd in the following scene to hide "something"! :-p (hmmm...speaking of which, I haven't heard from him in a while)

This woman in my office is a total bitchface, so everybody in my department has taken to calling her the flying ass monkey. And we do the 'do do do do do doooo do' thing everytime she's out of earshot.

I've not actually heard from Brent since our erection-tastic little pink bed days. If you see/hear from him, say hi.
