Brain shutdown
I've been stareing at my computer for something like 10 hours straight now trying to figure out a problem with the new version of our backup software. At the moment, the vendor is being less than helpful, they just don't seem to get the concept of "my backups haven't worked for 24 hours". I figure if I'm lucky I'll get out of here around 7 -- not that I want to try driving home in rush hour anyway.
In other news, I still haven't killed either of the directors, although I did find out last night about a new set piece they need built. Did I mention that we load in on Sunday?!?!? And being the SM, I'm not going to have a whole lot of time to be playing with screwguns next week. Ah well, that's theatre -- there's a reason we call it "hell week"....
I'm going to go back to staring at software traces and waiting for the vendor to call back (which part of "we need to escalate this case" wasn't clear?)
