Christmas letter

The last month of the year will eat a person WHOLE if they are not careful.

Where did Thanksgiving go? How is it December already? Me and Babyboy are getting on a plane Wednesday morning and flying to Seattle, WA. Hubby will follow us later in the week. We are there until after Christmas, celebrating the holiday with hubby's folks and assorted siblings and their families. This will be the first time I've flown in a year, and the first time with my little boy since he was an infant. A 5 hour flight isn't really the way I would like to break us back into air travel. But my folks bought him a dvd player, I have ransacked a dollar store for prizes, and have tons of snacks. *crosses fingers* that it will go well.

Just opened Christmas presents and had dinner with my parents here tonight. Dinner was amazing. I love cooking/baking with my mom. After dinner, we had a small impromptu concert with my mom on piano, me singing, Babyboy "playing" trumpet, and hubby and my dad doing rhythm instruments. It was awesome. Over the weekend, my mom hosted breakfast for her side of the family. I haven't had so much fun with my cousins in years. I'm glad our kids saw us being such great friends. I hope Babyboy will be just as close with their children.

My kid's choir sang last night at church and did really well. I hate that they are demons all year and then pull out their halo's to sing for their parents. Kids are little monsters when you put a bunch of them together, don't let anyone tell you different.

Hubby is talking to three companies right now. Who knows if it will turn into offers, but right now it looks fairly promising. C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, we need a little magic to happen any day now.

My inlaws do have internet, but I don't foresee a lot of time for me to be on Livejournal while away. Of course, not that I have been lighting up posts or anything for the last several weeks. I'm missed it, and I miss allbof you! If I don't get back on here til January, I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a great start to 2010. (And doesn't saying 2010 sound freaking weird too?)
