(no subject)
I can't sleep so here I am, in front of the laptop trying to slug on a semi interesting update. But tonight that is a challenge since I'm due at the airport in about 4 hours. The heat is not letting up and part of me is going semi stir crazy in the process. Maybe getting out of the city if only for a few days will help, the best part of this little road trip is sneaking a few days with my someone special (who needs a journal).
As the Teddy Geiger cd is piped into my IPod a few lines of "These Walls" are very striking.
"These walls can't be my haven
These walls can't keep me safe here
Now I guess I got to let them down"
It took me the better part of a year to let down my own version of those walls. But now in only a couple of years I think I have changed as both an actress and as a person. Most of those stories will be saved for upcoming entries as of right now since it is rather late as I type this. But as the song reminded me tonight the walls can be brought down when that person does come along.
To end this for now here's the list I told Elizabeth I would post as found in an old lyric journal. Just have to find the second half since it's in another notebook.
1. To learn a 3rd language
2. To hail a cab without screaming
3. To be able to play something classical(maybe Bach?) on the piano
4. To sing something lame at a karaoke bar (lame as in a song I would not sing in public otherwise)
5. To learn one more insturment besides piano
6. Dye my hair a color more insane than green
7. Be able to tango
8. Dress in head to toe black at least once
9. Ride one of those bulls like in a Western bar
10. Scat singing
Now to get a couple of hours sleep before braving the dash to Kennedy.

In terms of relationships she and Casey will be played as a long standing dating pair, due to a lack of good Casey's mostly.
