Isn't it ironic?...and yeah...I really do think!

I have some good news! I just saved a bunch of money of my car insurance by switching to Geico. No seriously we did. Our other insurance was robbing us blind! All the New Yorkers agree that Geico is the way to go!

So a lot has happened since my last update. Like for instance I got cast in another show!!! Ironically enough I made it again to another final callback. I wasn't in the final four this time which makes me feel like I am not cursed by the number 4 and can actually watch the basketball finals now. This time the show was the Japanese tour of "Rent". I have to say that I had no intention of auditioning, then found out that it was only going to be a couple of months in Japan as opposed to like 6+ months, so I was like what the hay. I really had no desire to go to Japan, but come on, my duo partner lived there...and in true method actor fashion, I thought I should experence what he did. I didn't get a phone call for that, but the next day got a phone call for another show (the show that I am currently in). So for the ironic part because with all my stories turn out long with no point...I was telling all my friends who will be carrying around their Japanese/English dictionaries to bring me back a kimono because I don't know why, but I have always wanted one. Well the show that I am in I am actually playing an Asian Elder (as well as some crocodiles, mother and turtle family) and we were told yesterday that our base costume will be a...you didn't see this coming...a kimono! Life has a funny way of working out!!!

I've had some visitors in the past couple of weeks. And not the alien visitors like the boy on "House" last week. Reji came up for some auditions and crashed on the couch. I became his manager during his auditions (since I wasn't auditioning for any of the stuff he was, and didn't want him to get lost). We had some hilarious experiences, one major being that we raced down the subway steps, along with some police academy men who almost trampled me and apologized perfusely while on the train, to find that we had raced down the steps, LITERALLY squeezed on the train, and we were going the wrong direction. Some tour guide/manager I am huh? ;) I do think that Reji is a famous person magnet. He attracted Kelly Ripa, her hot husband, and gorgeous kiddies and Jay from Project Runway! Of course he did also attract a crazy man who shouted to Liz that "God is destroying her"! Gotta love New York City!!! :) A few days later, Bolling came up hoping to chloroform Jason and take advantage of me. Instead he settled for some sightseeing while I was at rehearsal. I met them at Rupert's Deli (and if you don't know what/who that is...don't inform Bolling) for lunch and then it was back to rehearsal for me. Bolling got some great pictures. He is not only extremely smart, an amazing geologist, and a patient man while talking to Delta Airlines, but his photography skills are pretty amazing. Although I think I gave him several heart attacks driving in the city, I think he enjoyed his time...both my alien visitors did! :)

SO that is about all on my end. Thanks again to all the support in cyberland. It means a lot!!! Until next time: Peace and Hair Grease!

On the next episode: Show times and dates!!!
