Does it make me old fashioned that I can't remember ever asking a guy out? At least I haven't asked a guy out in high school. (and I dont plan on it anytime soon either) Guys have always asked me. I guess it just leads back to the fact that I think guys should wear the pants in the relationship. Or maybe it's because I'm just too scared. I think it's the scariest thing telling a guy you like them. Even if you're not that afraid that he won't like you back. It's just scary. And asking a guy out is obviously telling him you like him. But I dunno. I don't even know what I want right now. Which is good I guess in a way. I mean it's summer, so it's alright to be single. Better when I'm so busy that I'm not tied down to any particular guy. I personally think It'd be cute to just go on a date with a guy. Nobody seems to really do that anymore. i mean yeah there are a few people I've heard of, but it's not common like it seems it used to be in like my parents teenage years. (once again going to the old fashioned in me) But why don't people just go on dates? I mean, are guys really that scared to ask a girl on a date? Probably. I mean it's the same kind of thing, with telling a girl you like her. But still. Guys are supposed to be brave and take risks like that. But I personally know a few guys that if they asked me on a date I would say yes. Because a date is a kind of...well if we get to know each other better we might work out as going out, but definatley nothing is guarenteed. Instead of just asking a girl out, which is definate. And all those guys that I would say yes to going on a date with, probably only one of them I would probably say yes to, to actually being boyfriend/girlfriend with. Whom I will not say in this post obviously. And I'm not being desperate here looking for a date. Because I'm definately not desperate looking for a boyfriend. But I'm just saying I think it would be pretty adorable if a guy asked me on a date. Or just if everyone started going on dates first. It would definatley get rid a lot of those stupid short relationships. I dunno. What do other people, boys and girls think about this?? I hope I'm not totally alone with my thoughts. :-P
