Painting
I have started painting again, I needed something healing and creative in my life again.
So far just painting tiny canvases, or more properly boards with acrylic primer. I have started with oils, because I have always liked the flow and the fact that they feel like they have a life of their very own, just waiting for you to massage it's image out into the light.
I have been painting very simple things, no details just playing with shape and colour to ease me back in. I have been happy, this far, with the results.
Makes me pine for some of my missing old oil paintings! I quite liked some of those old things. I always felt a little too attached to my paintings. It is almost heartbreaking for me to think of them in a dumpster someplace. Maybe a hobo will be entertained by them and rescue them. They just want love!
