I love spring & planting
So far I have planted 2 tomatoes, bell peppers, okra, green beans, 1 cucumber (which sadly didn't make it, dammit), 2 strawberries, 4 geraniums & 12 inpatients (need 6 more). A coworker is supposed to send me 8 marigolds & I want another but different impatient & a hanging flowery pot. I have 3 gerba daisies that come up on their own every year, day lillies, a philadendren, an elephant ear & a rubber tree. Sounds like a lot but really isn't. It's so satisfying to plant & watch them grow & produce. I am trying to go a bit overboard this year, or want to, but if/when I can put in a big flower bed & also a produce garden it will be better.
Plus there is just the yay of getting dirt all over yourself, I guess. But only when I am in my gardening clothes, otherwise I am stressed about it! LOL I hate getting dirty in my ordinary clothes.
