"I got no complaints" - Pop-pop
That's what he kept saying during an interview I did with him about WW2 back in April 23, 2001 (right before 9-11) when he was still kickin and all.

The funeral was nice - he looked better at the funeral then when he was alive. He finally looked at peace. I feel a little bad cause I didn't cry but in a sense - I had to be strong for my mom. I ended up reading a eulogy on behalf of my mom (which I basically wrote). The prayer cards were nice because I picked what went on them. It basically summed everything up;

God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be
So He put His arms around you
And whispered "Come with Me."

With tearful eyes
We watched you suffer
And saw you fade away
Although we loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating
Hard working hands at rest
God broke our hearts to prove
He only takes the best.
