Leaving Nebraska

I'm sitting at this computer with wet hair, freshly shaved legs and that nice deoderant smell about me. My mom has Emma (and Bayley) and Andrew upstairs (he's sleeping). I just took a super long shower and now I'm on the computer. This is such an amazing day.

Being at Mom's and Dad's house is a mother's dream vacation. Mom makes these amazing meals and if she doesn't cook, she takes me to these amazing restaurants that I miss so much. Like the Green Gateau, Granite City, Grasantis and of course, Taco Johns. If Jeff were here, he would get Valentinos and Hyvee Chinese. And if I want to take a nap, I get to. She watches the kiddos if they wake up. But I'm not all that well-rested because we stay up late and get up early talking over coffee and cheesecake, which is wonderful. I can also run an errand or even go out for coffee with a friend. This is my dream vacation.

Tomorrow I will be leaving Nebraska. It makes me sad. When Darc, Monica and I were all here recently, Monica said, "Let's all move back to Lincoln." and how unbelievably impossible that sounds, it is so appealing. I love my family and I love being around them.

Andrew laughed for the first time last night. His "Pa" was doing "Elevator" with him and he started to giggle. It was awesome. And as much as Jeff will be disappointed that he didn't get to hear the first laugh, he will be so glad that his Dad did.
