I had my suspicions~ remixiedJuly 7 2011, 21:38:33 UTC
um um um I'll just uh yeah I can't decide what to share ;~~~;
okay stuff that didn't make it in (almost said hang on while I dig the draft out but rofl): originally Zhou Mi was going to come in and find Kyuhyun pulling the coffee maker apart, piece by piece, trying to figure out what went wrong. and Zhou Mi would've sat patiently at the table until Kyuhyun tried to shove the filter basket down the garbage disposal. I think I might have entertained ideas of Kyuhyun going out without shoes, but I didn't really want to write him having to go back inside to get them.
not much for background canon >.>; but as for future? Kyuhyun will wake up on the floor once Zhou Mi allows him oxygen and then later he probably denies having had a crisis/minor mental breakdown earlier that morning and ohjfhdkjsl
Kyuhyun sighs and rolls his eyes, "It was not that serious, okay?"
"It really was."
And Kyuhyun can hear the laugh in Zhou Mi's voice, can feel the corners of his own mouth tugging upwards, reflexively. He snorts and takes a few steps ahead of Zhou Mi, continuing down the crowded subway stairwell, "You're blowing this way out of proportion."
He doesn't bother looking behind him as he darts around people, able to sort of feel Zhou Mi following along in the path he'd cleared, able to hear his incredulous laugh ringing out over the screech of the approaching subway. Kyuhyun throws a hand behind himself, fingers outstretched while he makes a break for the far end of the platform. Zhou Mi's hand lands in his just as Kyuhyun kind of accidentally knocks a business man, busy with his handphone, into the tiled wall of the corridor; Kyuhyun tightens his grip, yanking Zhou Mi along and trying not to laugh at the wake of apologies he's leaving behind them.
Zhou Mi's momentum carries them a little farther than intended, hands still clasped together as he nearly stumbles through the door on the opposite side. The scratchy P.A. issues a warning about closing doors and Kyuhyun almost pulls Zhou Mi's arm out of his socket.
He pulls them to collapse back onto the nearest plastic seats, ignoring the stares from other passengers as they try to catch their breath.
Zhou Mi's still flushed and grinning as he rocks into Kyuhyun's side with the subway car's movement, probably definitely lingering longer than necessary. "Your face, oh my God."
"Did I look like I was going to kill you? Because I'm pretty sure I considered the option."
Zhou Mi snorts and tips the brim of his baseball cap down, leaning back against Kyuhyun's shoulder, "You wouldn't kill me~"
It's obviously true, contrary to more than occasional impulses, but Kyuhyun asks anyways. "Why not?"
"Well if you killed me, then who would button your shirt for you?"
Zhou Mi dodges Kyuhyun's elbow just barely, fingers still tangled together as he slides down a seat to relative safety with a laugh. Kyuhyun threatens, "Don't even."
But he continues on, decidedly unconcerned, moving to settle back against Kyuhyun, "Really! This morning you-"
"Oh," Kyuhyun says with exaggerated understanding, "was it like the time you went to that close out sale and-"
Zhou Mi straightens, expression grave, "I thought we agreed not to talk about that."
"Hm. Like we agreed never to mention this morning ever again?"
Sighing, Zhou Mi holds up his free hand, offering a solemn pinky finger, "Done."
Kyuhyun raises an eyebrow, teasing, "What? You don't want to seal with with a kiss?"
All he gets is the moment it takes him to realise he really should know better than to encourage Zhou Mi, before all his focus switches to the warm press of Zhou Mi's mouth over his and the pad of Zhou Mi's thumb tracing slow and reverent over the back of his hand.
He'd most definitely had worse mornings, but Kyuhyun wasn't entirely sure about having had better ones.
