OH MY EFFING GOD.
Words cannot truly express how AMAZING the Foo Fighters & Weezer concert was tonight! I had the GREATEST TIME. Weezer was amazing, exceptional, and most DEFINITELY exceeded my expectations for them. They are such a talented band, and really really made me more of a fan of them. GREAT GUYS THEY ARE. After they played, everyone was semi-worn out, tired, hot, sweaty, and even Earl looked at me and said, "Well, the Foo Fighters gotta really pull something amazing off to beat that....". THAT statement was indeed very true, Weezer played a damn good show, and it would take a hell of a lot to top that.
But it was done.
The Foo Fighters came out with literally a BANG, and were sooo pumped up to play and most importantly, pump US up. The whole sold out 10,000+ people in the Frank Erwin center were on their feet, shouting, screaming, singing, moshing, and sweating as the guys played "Best of You", "All My Life", "My Hero", "Stacked Actors", and their other amazing hits from over the years. I LOVED THE fact that they played all their hits instead of just the majority of the new songs from the new album like some bands do. The lights, smoke, lasers, projection screens, and of course, the music, all made one HELL OF A SHOW from the Foos. Dave Grohl is such a great guy, always smiling, always cursing, and always crackin jokes. He would be a good friend. I LOVED IT!! I COULDN'T BE MORE GREATFUL to have gone to that show, with my best friend, with my favorite band about 10 feet away from me.
My voice is practically gone, as well as my arms and legs extremely sore, so I think I'm gonna go lay down. But hats off to the boys of Weezer and Foo Fighters for truly putting on the best concert I have ever been to.
September has just gotten 10X better.
