Ok, it's time for an entry. Lesee, what's the haps? My new job is great. Great in the sense that I don't feel under pressure constantly, great in the sense that I'm not completely drained by it.
I came to the realization that my old boss was the one sucking the life out of me. He was such an asshole, and he was an asshole to ME specifically, that I, subconsciously, did everything I could to make him happy. I literally gave everything I had emotionally and physically, hoping that he would be nicer or less of an asshole. This happened without me realizing it until I was out of there. It literally felt like a dream come true when I left my old job. :P

My lease on my apartment is up in 2 months. I don't want to stay here. I've come to realize that my apartments suck. My cousin is manager of an apartment and her company is always doing stuff, barbecues, specials, and they actually communicate with their residents. Plus my neighbors are LOUD in the evenings.
Soooo... I'm looking at a house. It's a small place, 2 bed, 1 bath, about 950 sqft. It has A/C, a 2-car carport, a large back porch just waiting to be screened in, a nice size kitchen, and brand new carpet. I'm looking into my options on getting a mortgage loan and buying the place. It's not too expensive for out here (Real estate is pretty high here... Not California high, but pretty high). Basically the more I think about buying that house, the more I hate my apartment.
I spoke to a realtor, and she told me that now is the time to start looking, because it can take a couple weeks to get the loan, then the paperwork takes 3 or 4 weeks after that, just to move in... I didn't realize that.

Anyway, I'll let y'all know how that goes, hopefully before I actually move :P

Actually, one more thing about the new job: It's going to get interesting. The owner of the company is going on vacation to alaska for 6 weeks and her son and daughter are going to be in charge. One is crazy (severe brain damage from a car wreck that almost killed her), the other has no patience and has a tendency to explode... yes, it will be an interesting summer :P
