Gumdrop Gulley
There once was a wonderful place called Gumdrop Gulley, where the cutest and fluffiest bunnies lived. All the fluffy bunnies of Gumdrop Gulley had jobs to make the world a happy, sweet place.
The fluffy bunnies of Cotton Candy Lane had a very important job. Probably the most important job of all the fluffy bunnies in all the land. Their job was to put rainbow sprinkles on all the world's cupcakes.
One day Fluffy Bunny #1 walked through Gumdrop Gulley to the Rainbow Sprinkle Mill, as he did every day. He round the corner and Licorice Hill only to make a frightful discovery: All the Rainbow Sprinkles were gone!!! Beside himself with sadness, he rushed back down to Cotton Candy Lane to warn the other bunnies.
He hopped over to Fluffy Bunny #2 and said "I have made a terrible discovery, Fluffy Bunny #2: all the rainbow sprinkles in all the land are gone!"
Fluffy Bunny #2 gasped "Why, that mustn't be!! What ever can we do? We must fix this".
Fluffy Bunny #1 rubbed his tiny bunny hands together. "Do you think we should tell the queen? She'll be quite sore with us if she were to find out..."
Fluffy Bunny #2 agreed that they must tell the queen and quick. All the bunnies of Cotton Candy Lane went to the queen's home. She had the most beautiful home in all of Gumdrop Gulley. They asked the guards if they could speak with the queen.
By this time, the bunnies of the entire gulley heard about this terrible predicament and all traveled to the Queen's Court to hear the news.
The queen's fluffy bunny guards came out of the castle first. Then the Queen Bunny appeared. She was the biggest, fluffiest bunny anyone ever saw.
The queen cleared her fluffy bunny throat "Who summons me?" she asked. Nobunny (haha, get it, nobunny? It should be nobody, but this story is about bunnies...get it) dared speak up, for they all feared the queen.
Finally, Fluffy Bunny #1 spoke up. "Your majesty, I have made a most frightful discovery. We have run out of rainbow sprinkles".
A collective gasp from all the fluffy bunnies filled Gumdrop Gulley.
"Silence!", yelled the queen. "How could this happen? Who is responsible?", she demanded as she looked around her court.
Fluffy Bunny #1 spoke again. "I am sorry, but I don't know. We had plenty of sprinkles yesterday. Someone must have stole them. Maybe a squirrel..."
"Well, we must do something", said the queen. "Come, Fluffy Bunny #1 and we shall discuss a way to fix this dire situation". Fluffy Bunny #1 went with the guards into the queen's castle to come up with a solution.
After a few hours, the queen came back out to share the solution with the fluffy, pink-nosed bunnies of Gumdrop Gulley.
"We have taken care of the situation", she exclaimed as she raised her scepter...
And that is how the "lucky" rabbit's foot came to be.
