We went to the house inspection today. Quite a few minor issues but one of the main ones is that the upstairs AC unit doesn't work as good as it should. I mean, the two units are nearly twenty years old, but still, in this heat, it can easily be a health issue. We're gonna bring it up to the seller (who apparently doesn't even have the money to turn the damn gas on in the house) and see what he thinks about getting it fixed. Which-it'll probably be on us... So it could kind of make or break the deal, I was told. WHICH SUCKS. Totally bummed, considering we all got excited and went on a packing spree.
If we end up walking away from this house, it'll be picked up in probably no more than four days, lol. And then what? Wait six, eight months (or more) until we find something else? Should I start unpacking now?
On another note, we're (meaning dad, mom, sister, and i) are going to a Lance Burton show tonight (magician, if whoever reads this doesn't know). Back before X-mas we donated money and got some free tickets. Should be fun, 'cause we're in the fifth row and almost center stage. I think this will be the first Vegas show I've seen. And to think I've lived here all my life (-2 years). Haha.
