earlier my roommates played christmas carols together. mandy on bassoon, sarah on flute, derin on harp. i sang for a little bit, in between some paper writing. it was really nice. it reminded me of being at home... my sisters and i sometimes like to gather around the piano and just sing and play christmas music together. we've even put on mini-concerts for our relatives with our respectives flutes and violins and such. i think it's such a nice tradition just to share music with those you love. i like having musical roommates :)
i also like my new icon. i put up a christmas tree because that is the way that i celebrate the holiday season, not because that is the way i expect everyone to celebrate the holiday season.
blast my papers. all you people on my flist, you need to post some more. i'm at the point where i am constantly checking the flist and other computer-type distractions just because i need a break.
