[Action]

[Today, Luceti, there is an unfamiliar boy lurking around town. Technically, he has a place to go but... he's restless a little still so he's aimlessly lurking around the square. Not that he won't jump at the chance to see people he knows or to meet new people if they should wish to talk with him but... yeah. This fellow is just ( Read more... )

[Supplies. Now that the Gallifrey house is starting to put itself back together, Koschei is trying to find anything he deems necessary for moving out of the fort and back into the house. He almost walks right past Heart before something registers. Not a biological organism. He backpedals to frown slightly at Heart, trying to work him out. When and where is he from? Different universe? Possibly. He really wants to work it out on his own, but...may as well ask. Asking an android is different than asking, say, another Time Lord. When he speaks, his voice is very posh British.]

Excuse me. Where exactly are you from, please?

[ooc: Don't know if she'll pick up on this or not but his internal body temperature is 15 degrees Celsius (about 50% of a human) and he has two hearts.]

[...Okay when he's spoken to the robot here needs to process things. Visual appearance is human and age range seems to be within the approximated levels... but then heat- ...well that's weird. Could that be a malfunction? He considers this and as a result remains silent for the better part of fifteen seconds until it concludes- no, not an error, but definitely an anomaly.

Given that it's already accepted wings are part of human form, his programming lets him bypass this, so time for the runtimes-]

[This is not at all the sort of answer Koschei is expecting.]

...pardon?

[And... still a blank stare. Yep. No vocal responses until he gets an answer-

...Or thirty seconds passes]

[Okay, so it's a program he needs to activate then, in order to get any answers, possibly. He takes a moment to ponder the potential meaning, or outcome of either answer and then carefully says:] Yes?

[Ding! Well okay not an actual ding, but the eyes seem to twitch a little as he moves on to part two-]

Pick my personality: One, two, three, four, five, or six.

[Personality? Okay, well, that's not necessarily uncommon for robots. Defining themselves based around each individual user. The issue is that he doesn't have this robot's user manual. Which means that he's going to have to take a gamble.

First personality is likely a sort of normal human one, based on the likelihood that most people in this place probably chose it automatically and no-one seems to be reacting to a very roboty sort of robot. He considers the mid-range of personalities for safety's sake, there's the possibility that it's a personality sliding scale? But eventually, he crosses his fingers and hopes that six, being at the end, is some sort of basic robotic personality and will get him the answers he wants the fastest.]

Six.

[...PROCESSING- And then a weird smile comes onto his face. It's not quite happy but it is honest looking as his eyes seem to glaze over a bit. ...Oh, this person somehow looks completely different than they did a second ago. He nods and-]

Oh~ I'm sorry for that.

[Koschei considers the smile...and then shrugs.]

It's perfectly alright.

[And then he has to actually try and remember what he wanted to ask in the first place.]

Right. What planet are you from, please?

extraheart August 23 2010, 00:30:13 UTC
Oh, well~ Earth, of course. Are you not from there?

No.

[But he's already trying to work out the next bit.]

What about the year you're from?

extraheart August 23 2010, 01:15:34 UTC
It just recently turned 2124. [...Blink though. He's not from Earth? So he's an alien...?]

[Koschei takes the robot's hand and examines it, flipping it over and rubbing his thumbs over it. It's really extremely complex. He's geeking out very slightly. Apparently, humans are more impressive than he'd previously thought. Eventually, he lets his hand go again.]

Wow.

[Fft, okay, basic robot rights, whoops.]

I'm Koschei. What's your name?

extraheart August 25 2010, 23:41:16 UTC
[...OH GOD YESSSS HE'S BEING MANHANDLED kill him now this is amazing. But then when spoken to, it breaks him out of enjoying that sensation... or what his sensors told him was a sensation anyway. He blinks and-]

Oh... right~ You can call me Heart.

[Koschei. That's a nice name]
