Happiness

Today when I was walking down the street I saw an old man in a plaid shirt walking towards me. I stepped to the side so as not to hog the sidewalk, but he moved that way too, so I moved again, and so did he. Right up to my face where he proceeded to grab me by my shoulders, stare into my face and say in some kind of Eastern European accent, "Give me all your money." I think I said "What?" Then he began to smile and laugh so I smiled back and said "Oh, you..." Then he let me go and we went on our seperate ways.

I thought this was pretty funny.

Ari, I am sorry I completely missed your birthday. I am a busy lazy person, and that is a bad combination. I will make it up to you. I have a wee present waiting for you, so I hope we get together this weekend.

And oh! How I love my new job/schedule/life! And the warm weather is here so now I will be sitting outside wherever there is outside seating, drinking coffee and beers and lemonades and whatnot. That's what I did today. I just sat outside of Alliance Bakery and looked at the cars, and the people on bikes, and girls in skirts, and it was nice to just sit and watch things. That's why I loved our porch/compoound at Hickok. There was always something to look at, or have Ronnie yell at, or someone would come home or just stop by. Sigh.

Love ya.
