So things are chugging along in Washington. The 'rents came down for 4th of July yesterday and we saw the fireworks on the Mall, which was nice. The long weekend has been on the whole very relaxed, which I am glad for. Hopefully work this week won't be too insane - there's been some drama that luckily doesn't involve me, and I'm hoping that it'll keep everyone else distracted...

In other news, I've decided to make an effort to get my Korean going again. After a lot of waffling back and forth about it (long story short: interesting country and culture, not terribly interesting language), I decided that there was really no sense in letting it go to waste. So I've been hitting the books again and have used it as an excuse to watch some more Korean dramas - at the moment, I'm in the middle of Iris, which is a truly ridiculous spy thriller from a few years ago that is insanely enjoyable.

And a little tidbit - at work I've been using a little pocket-sized Moleskine notebook to write everything down in to combat my chronic absent-mindedness. The system has worked so well that I've decided to adapt it to my day-to-day life and so today purchased another Moleskine notebook for precisely this purpose. Could this be the beginning of a new, more organized Sean Bye? I wait with bated breath.
