Life is really disappointing.
In the past week, here's what has gone wrong:
Glasses broke
-Can't find replacement frames
-Adhesive is proving to be only semi-useful
-Can't afford new glasses/eye exam right now, and I really need it
Didn't finish enough concentration pieces for my AP Art critique
My computer had been rendered nearly useless by a crazy virus
-Can't do anything with it, seriously, but I think I may have fixed it, still, frustrating
-Computer is still on its way out, and I need to rescue the files before it goes kaput
Belle & Sebastien/New Pornographers tickets sell out, after giving Nick the cash to buy me one
-He hasn't returned the money
Sleep deprivation is killing me
Lack of motivation in everything
Tyler, Sean, and I drove nearly 3 hours to go to a Mogwai show, and we get there, and its sold out
-This sucks especially because seeing Mogwai is on my life's to-do list, as they've been pretty much my favorite band since the 7th grade.
Anyhow, I'm fine, but all of this is hitting me at once, and fuck, I don't see why things don't go right for me.
Regardless, I really wanted to see Mogwai, and I'm super bummed out about it. They won't be in the US for another 2-3 years, I'm sure. Makes me really sad.
Mogwai, if you're reading this, play another show near me, please. I'll give you whatever you want.
