Looks like all my cigarettes burned up in this fire we had. My extra pants, too. That's a real shame. Kind of embarrassing, too.

Well, everything I owned was burned to ashes, so that's not good. But I hear a lot of other people lost even more, so it's not as bad when you look at it that way.

Come stay with Will and Koi and me. Our place survived, and there's an extra room...I'll have to ask but I don't think they'll mind.

You all right, spiky? I remember there was a fire, and other people have filled me in on some of the details. But I don't remember what sent me back into cocooon-land.

It's been a while. Over a week, I think. [He doesn't quite answer that other question yet.] It's hard to remember when the fire was--I don't like thinking about it much.
