Animorphs
Smart-mouth Marco
As far as David's concerned, all his troubles began the day he met Marco in a crowded hallway on his second day of school. He saw Marco as a bit of an idiot at first (though Marco did himself no favors in their first meeting) and changed his opinion real quick once he found out who Marco really was. Marco didn't take too well to David either and argued against letting him join the Animorphs. After he joined, Marco egged David on with snide quips, destroying any lingering chance of friendship between him and David one one-liner at a time. As much as he despises Marco, David couldn't bring himself to murder the Animorph in his sleep, opting to tie him up and impersonate him instead. After Rachel threatened his parents, David put his grudge with Marco on the back burner. He sees Marco as a wisecracking jackass still, but not much of a real threat.
Marco
Big Jake
Jake's unwritten authority as leader of the Animorphs was something David rebelled against from day one. Whatever thanks he owed the Animorph leader for saving his life was dismissed by the fact that Jake had allowed his parents to be captured and infested. Consequently, David never really paid more than a token acknowledgment of Jake's authority and circumvented his orders several times. This culminated in Jake threatening his life, which more than anything else is what drove him to betray the Animorphs. The animosity between Jake and David exploded when David 'killed' Tobias, leading the two Animorphs to battle each other atop the city mall. David's lion decisively defeated Jake's tiger, and while Jake survived, David quickly started to focus on Rachel as his primary enemy, bumping Jake down to number two on his hit-list.
Jake
Psycho Rachel
Though David never knew it, Rachel was the Animorph responsible for him being inducted into the team, as hers was the 'tiebreaker' vote on whether to abandon David or make him one of them. The two had little interaction until David almost betrayed the Animorphs to Visser Three, and after that Rachel had nothing but disgust for him, seeing him as a gutless, treacherous worm. Her disgust for David turned to hatred after he tried killing Tobias and Jake and she fought him fiercely, trying unsuccessfully to kill him by luring his golden eagle into power lines. After he threatened to reveal the secret of the Animorphs to the Yeerks, Rachel stabbed a fork into his ear and threatened to kill his parents if he did. From that day on, she was David's number one enemy, and her decisive role in trapping him as a nothlit earned her his undying hate. Crayak used the animosity between David and Rachel to pit them against each other, but when David failed to push Rachel into Crayak's service, he abandoned him to Rachel's questionable mercies. David sees Rachel as his number one enemy, without exception.
Rachel
Little Miss Morality
Cassie was the only member of the Animorphs who treated David with kindness, and as a result she was the one Animorph he came closest to trusting. She was the only Animorph David exempted from his midnight rampage, and when he threatened to turn the Animorphs over to the Yeerks afterward, he left Cassie's name conspicuously absent from his list. Ironically, it was that very trust that led to David's downfall, since Cassie was able to mastermind the plan to trap him as a rat by using her knowledge of David to manipulate him. He believed (and still believes) Rachel was responsible, and holds Cassie no ill will, though he wasn't above using her as a hostage in his attempt to take revenge on Rachel two years later.
Cassie
Bird-boy
Like Ax, David mostly just ignored Tobias, seeing the nothlit as something no longer human and therefore beneath notice. When Jake sent Tobias to follow him, David had no probably with attacking him with lethal force in his golden eagle morph. David's savage assault was enough to murder Tobias - except, surprise! It wasn't the real Tobias, just another red-tailed hawk that happened to be following a bird known to prey on red-tailed hawks. What a coincidence. Taking advantage of this, the Animorphs carried on the ruse that David had killed Tobias, a ploy which allowed Tobias himself to play a pivotal role in the plan to trap David as a rat. Pinning the blame for the plot firmly on Jake and Rachel, David spares Tobias little if any thought afterward, seeing him as a passive follower and beneath contempt.
Tobias
The Alien
David never saw Ax as anything more than the Animorphs's pet alien, hardly ever addressing him or even looking at him. He knew from day one the Andalite was trouble though, and made sure to attack him only after Ax was in a vulnerable morph. As far as David's concerned, Ax is as much fair game to hunt and kill as an animal and he had no hesitation about introducing Ax to that human invention known across America as the baseball bat. He also manipulated Ax's ignorance of human technology to distract him with an alarm clock. Notably, Ax was the only Animorph who stayed with Rachel the two hours it took to trap David as a rat, something Ax later told Rachel he never wanted to speak of again.
Aximili-Esgarrouth-Isthill
Bringer of the Box
The Andalite whose morphing cube David discovered was dead long before David met the Animorphs and it is not known if the Animorphs bothered even telling David his name. If they did, it was off-screen. Given David's antipathy for Andalites in general, it is fairly certain that unlike the other Animorphs he does not particularly mourn Elfangor's passing.

Yeerks
Asshole Alien Overlord
David hates Visser Three with a burning hatred that easily rivals his contempt for Animorphs Jake and Rachel Berenson. The Yeerk leader invaded his home, tore apart his life, and stole his parents from him, all in a single day. When given the opportunity, David attempted to literally rip the Visser's throat out in his lion morph -- and very nearly did it as well. However, as with Ax, David sees Visser Three as too powerful to be openly challenged, preferring to rely on surprise and deception to deal with him instead. He also believed he could ransom his parents from the Visser by using the Escafil device as a bargaining chip and it wasn't until Cassie flatly told him that plan would never work that he abandoned it.

Principal Evil
In one more example of how well the Animorphs prepared David, they never quite got around to telling their newest recruit that the vice principal of the school they all attended was a high-ranking Controller and one of Visser Three's aide-de-camps.
As a high-ranking Controller, it is safe to assume that Chapman was tasked with hunting David down by Visser Three.

Marco's Yeerk Cougar Mommy
David learned that Marco's mother was a Controller early on, though it is not known if he was ever made aware that she was in fact the highest-ranking visser in the Yeerk Empire. Either way, he never met her, seeing as how Edriss was not on Earth at the time. Conversely, whether Visser One knew of David is also unknown. By the time she returned to Earth, months had passed since the Animorphs trapped David in rat morph. She makes no mention of either David or the Escafil device either, suggesting that Visser Three may have covered up the incident to his superiors in order to conceal his failure.

The Anti-Rachel
Though Sub-Visser Fifty-one rose to become Visser Three's second-in-command, it is not known when she was appointed to that position or how long she had been stationed on Earth beforehand, if at all. She first becomes known to the Animorphs well after they have dealt with David, making it impossible to determine whether or not she knew of him.

Caught in the Middle
Dad
David's father is noteworthy in several respects: as an NSA agent, he was the impetus for much of what David is today. David's cockiness, his aggression and his tendency to tackle problems single-handed are all traits he got from his father. This is seen in the way David's father chose to handle the possibility of an intruder in his home; rather than wait for security to come, he went upstairs and confronted the unknown intruders himself. David's father is also the only person that David canonically respects and trusts without reservation. Even after his father had been captured and turned into a Controller David was still ready to trust him, and it was not until he faced his father and saw for himself that he father was now the enemy that he could bring himself to believe it.
Though never identified by name within canon, David's father is identified as a military veteran in Alternamorphs #02: The Next Passage, a spinoff book that casts the reader as a thinly-veiled expy of David.
Tom Harris
Mom
Very little is known about David's mom. Her only appearance in canon comes as she is driving up from work, unaware her home has been turned into a war zone by the Animorphs and the Yeerks. The retreating Yeerk forces capture her and make both her and her husband Controllers. She is not seen again after this.
The second Alternamorphs book explores her character a bit more, showing the scene of her capture (which was only alluded to in the main books). She is shown as a caring person, ripping part of her blouse to bandage her husband's injured hand. Like her husband, she is never identified by name within either the canon or Alternamorphs #02.

Pound Puppy
Though Erek the Chee was one of the only allies the Animorphs had and his aid could have made a crucial difference, they made a point not to tell Erek about David. Marco says of this decision, "We trust the Chee, but there's no point giving out any more information than is necessary'. Naturally, the Animorphs didn't tell David about Erek or the Chee either.

Cosmic Threats
Big Red Eye
Though David does not know it, he was manipulated by Crayak from the very beginning. The malevolent, godlike space entity was the one responsible for the Escafi device's inexplicable survival, and while it is not directly stated, it is alluded to that Crayak may have manipulated other events in David's life to cross his path with that of the Animorphs. Crayak's goal, of course, was to use David as a weapon. Though he desired the death of the Animorphs, namely Jake, the rules of the cosmic game played between Crayak and the Ellimist prevented him from doing so. Therefore, Crayak brought in a ringer: David.
As a weapon, David no doubt disappointed Crayak by failing to kill any of the Animorphs. This may be why Crayak did not reveal himself to David until many months after he'd been trapped in rat morph and treated him as no more than a tool when he did. Knowing of, and possibly having engineered David's enmity with Rachel, Crayak used David as a threat to convince Rachel to join him. Though Crayak had promised David he would restore him to human form, he lied, and after being rejected by Rachel he abandoned David to whatever fate his nemesis had in store for him.
As a cosmic being that exists outside the confines of space and time, Crayak could presumably encounter David on any world at any time if he chose to do so. Having manipulated and used David before, he might well try to do so again.
Crayak
Evil Space Dinosaur
As Crayak's emissary, the Drode assisted David during his last canonical encounter with the Animorphs, liberating him from his island prison and capturing Rachel and Cassie on David's behalf. That said, the Drode's goal all along was simply to further Crayak's agenda, and when Rachel asked him about David directly the Drode expressed nothing but snide contempt for him, referring to David only as "the rat".
As a being endowed with supernatural powers by Crayak, it is possible that if Crayak chose to target David again he would send the Drode as his agent.
The Drode
The Anti-Crayak
As one of the most powerful and inscrutable forces the Animorphs ever encountered, it comes as little surprise that the Animorphs never got around to telling David about the Ellimist. The Ellimist, of course, knew all about David and it is very likely that he allowed Crayak to manipulate David's life in exchange for some unknown concession.
Interestingly, the second Alternamorphs title - in which the reader is cast as a thinly-veiled David - sees an encounter between David and the Ellimist. During this encounter the Ellimist berates David, accusing him of having altered the space-time continuum by not having betrayed the Animorphs and forcing him to endure a series of tests to prove his worth. If the narrative is followed to its conclusion, the Ellimist either restores David to his life a week before discovering the blue box with his memories intact or forces him to choose between Cassie's life and those of his parents. David chooses Cassie.
As a cosmic being that exists outside the confines of space and time, the Ellimist could presumably encounter David on any world at any time if he chose to do so.
