And with everything else that was going on, I forgot to post a couple of choice snaps from the show.
By the end of the show, there wasn't a single un-annotated square centimeter on that board.
There was lightning going off in the background behind them. For minutes on end. THAT's how awesome they were. (I have video of this as well, and I realized all too late that by not bringing my DSLR I had deprived myself of a wonderful opportunity to take some time-lapse shots.)

To whoever pulled the fire alarm and send 20,000 people flooding out into the streets of Baltimore in the middle of the afternoon: Eat flaming death twice.
What better way to pass the time while waiting for the fire crew to clear the convention center than to get to know your fellow ... um, cosmic denizens?
